When you look at our society every parent wants their child to have a better life then they had. If a parent did not go to college, they would want their child to go to college. If a parent got pregnant at a young age, they will do everything they can to make sure that their child does not do the same thing.
It is also very obvious that parents want their children to begin learning earlier. Educational toys such as building blocks and puzzles are growing in popularity. There are also more educational books, flashcards, and especially DVDs out on the market that parents can purchase to help their children develop faster. They have everything from videos that can help children learn their ABCs to video that aid children in potty training as well as the traditional, entertaining cartoon videos.
The increase in popularity of videos targeted to children is not a surprise as there is a large worldwide focus on making things better for the people of the future. The earlier children can start learning and developing the more productive they can be earlier in life. Another great thing those videos do is they allow children to learn while they are having fun.
